Bus Schedule

Friday Bus and Bike Transportation to Houston and Austin Weekend Parking

Walk up travelers can purchase transportation at the departure site for $25 in cash or check IF space is available.

Garage parking for cyclists using the Friday bus transportation from Austin to Houston will be available on the top two floors of the parking garage located at the southwest corner of San Jacinto and 18th Street. The parking garage will open at 9 a.m. Do not park in any parking lots or on any streets located within the event site boundaries of M.L.K. Blvd, Lavaca, 15th and Trinity streets. All vehicles parked in these lots or streets will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Once you have parked please take your bicycle and luggage to the bicycle check-in area and bus depot located at the intersection of Brazos and 18th Street. Once your bicycle has been checked in it will be loaded onto a bike transport truck. Bikes will only be transported to Tully Stadium in Houston and Waller Stadium in Waller. Bikes WILL NOT be transported to Rhodes Stadium in Katy. Bikes can be expected to arrive at Tully Stadium approximately 2 hours after your bus arrival time. Bikes will be secured overnight at Tully Stadium and will be available for pick-up Saturday morning beginning at 5 a.m.

Finally, don’t forget to pick-up your bus ticket just outside the bus. Bus passengers will not be allowed to board a bus without a ticket. Passengers are responsible for loading their own luggage. Busses will begin departing at 11 a.m. and will depart approximately every 30 minutes. The last bus will leave at 7 p.m. sharp. Buses travel from Austin to the Omni Houston Westside hotel.

Driving directions to the parking garage: Take I-35 to Austin and exit M.L.K. Blvd west. Go 3 blocks west on M.L.K. Blvd to San Jacinto and turn left onto San Jacinto. Continue south on San Jacinto and the parking garage entrance will be on your right just after the intersection of San Jacinto and 18th Street. Please remember you will be parking in a garage that has a maximum height clearance of 7’ 2’’. Oversize vehicles and standard size vehicles with roof racks will not fit in the garage. Please remember to remove bicycles from roof racks before entering garage. The National MS Society will not be responsible for damages to bicycles, roof racks or vehicles resulting from a collision with the garage structure.

Shuttle Service in La Grange

Free shuttle service is available to select hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts in the La Grange area on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. (Shuttle service available for the following destinations on Saturday, April 12)
